Behind our house this evening I enjoyed hearing a 'whit' note that didn't quite sound like something that has been around all winter. A Gray Flycatcher complete with tail-dipping allowed me to photograph it...so did a Western Kingbird nearby. Yesterday there were 5 Western Kingbirds taking shelter from the wind in the willows. .
