Well, I guess it's about the time of year for Inyo to start getting some eastern warblers! I was jazzed to see a gorgeous Palm Warbler in the willow trees bordering the SW side of the SE full pond. From below, it had bright yellow undertail coverts, yellow throat and chin, smudgy streaky brown breast, dark eye line, light superciliary, and slightly rufous crown.
Two Black Tern were non-stop foraging over the SE pond, too. A very neat, and magical, bird. Fun stuff!
