This unfortunate Northern Waterthrush hit a window in Big Pine yesterday, 8 May. Northern Waterthrush is a rare bird in Inyo...generally considered an eastern warbler, but small numbers migrate through the interior west in spring. (Dunn and Garrett, Warblers, 1997)
