Description

On 2 July at Bishop Sewer Pond were: 1 Clark's Grebe (rare at sewer pond in summer), 8 Blue-winged Teal with 5 males just starting to molt out of Alternate Plumage, AP (rare in summer), 5 adult Greater Yellowlegs molting out of AP, (right on time for a first of fall migrant) and 2 Black Terns in AP (first of fall and 2 days ahead of schedule).
