A young male singing loudly was seen well. All deep blue head, breast and white lower belly, gray undertail and bunting shaped bill. Slightly smudgy looking like a young bird. No rust in the wings as in a Blue Grosbeak male or rust in the breast as in a Lazuli Bunting. A good recording was made of the bird. A Satyr Comma butterfly was seen well too on the nettle.
