While Mono County is not Inyo County there may be some insight from feather distribution just to the south. Mountain White-crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia leucophrys oriantha) has been regularly reported to 12 Oct in Inyo in very small numbers (rare) with the latest ever recorded on 18 Oct. There are no records of the eastern race (Z. l. leucophrys) for Inyo County.
