At Owens Lake today in the Zone 2 shallow flood we had 2 Mountain Plovers in addition to the Wilson's Phalarope. They were in area 3S on the pond on the western side. We also had some Red-necked Phalaropes, over 2000 Least Sandpipers, some Westerns and Dunlin, Dowitchers, Willets, Eared Grebes, Greater Yellowlegs, Northern Shovelers and various ducks, and one Black-bellied Plover in area 5.
