Today (8 Jan 2003) at noon there was a male Common Yellowthroat at the Bishop Sewer Ponds skulking under the SE corner cottonwoods. I wonder if this is the same individual found on the 14 Dec CBC by the Heindels. According to their graphs, this is only the second record for the month of January. The yellowthroat was in the company of a "myrtle" race Yellow-rumped Warbler.
