Singing this morning not long after sunup: LeConte's Thrasher, Loggerhead Shrike, and Song Sparrow. I suppose the SoSp could sing all winter. But today it's song definitely had an extra lilt, an added vitality, a measure of get-up-and-go that wasn't there before. Makes me want to sing, too.
