This is our First of Spring. What first caught our attention was the small bill, short-tailed look,longish primary-extension, lots of wing-flicking, dark mandible, sharply defined almond eye-ring but what cinched it was hearing its call note, "peep" instead of "whit". It called often while it twitched its wings in unison.
