There was a beautiful Franklin's Gull in full breeding plumage in Zone 2 today in area 6N just off mainline south of berm 4. I guess it is the time of year to see these birds around here. There were also a couple of Red-necked Phalaropes in breeding plumage, and Eared Grebe in breeding plumage. Always nice to see birds in their fancier plumages!
