Description

I was crashing through a rose field working my way down towards the bank and I spotted a blue warbler, this is different I thought, it took me awhile to become reacquainted with a bird I had seen regularly while growing up back east, a Northern Parula (a very sharp looking female). After making it down to the bank I see a black bird with white on the wings zip over my head. "Thats a small Magpie" I thought. Then he landed on a snag and showed off his due. Could this be the first Spring record for the Basin?
