Today adult Bushtits were seen carrying food to a hanging nest over the creek. We could barely make out the nest as it was very well camouflaged. This is probably the second clutch as young were seen earlier in the season in the same area. So in Birchim at least birds are still in the nest, meaning nesting season isn't over so brush shouldn't be cut yet as nests could be damaged. Also seen or heard were Chats, Blue Grosbeaks, Yellow Warblers and one male Lazuli Bunting.
