On 21 Aug Jon Dunn found 2 Stilt Sandpipers, both juveniles, at Tinemaha Reservoir. This is the 6th record for the County. He also found an adult Sanderling (regular but in small numbers from early Aug to mid/late Sep) as well as 42 juv Short-billed Dowitchers, a new high count for the County. We had a total of 17 species of sandpipers indicating this is the time to be searching mudflats for some other fancy ones!
