An adult Bald Eagle basked in the early morning sun in the field directly across from the entry to the Bishop Dump. The bird was about 20 yards from the road affording excellent views. It looked ENORMOUS! Two Eurasian (we think) Collared doves among four doves perched in "the dove tree" on Sunland. Grey undertail coverts (that we wished were a little darker)and the two pronounced black spots at the base of the undertail. At noon an immature Snowy Egret stood on one leg at the entrance to the gazebo path at the park pond. Very tame, allowing us to get close. 50+ Canadian Geese.
