Strange dove/pigeon calling for a couple of weeks, but finally found it today. Calling /too-TOO-tup!/ over and over while perched on a power pole. Nearly the size of a Rock Pigeon or at least LARGER than Mourning dove. Saw quite dark folded primaries and relatively dark brown in folded wing. Clearly seen horizontal black line on nape. Did not see it fly.
