The 10 sparrows were singing & chasing each other just s. of the entrance to Silver Cyn (drive thru creek & past cabin, park at willow)near the flanks of the hills in healthy looking scrub. The Goldeneyes are a Nik & Nik ponds (rare at this time on Inyo County graph booklet) with many other expected duck species (might have missed something as they can hide behind the islands). Farmers Pond is nearly dry but has a few American Pipits.
