Sighting

An empid flycatcher dropping its tail, white eyering, longish bill which was mostly pale below with a dark tip, bird had a gray back, and was "whitting" quietly. The primary extension was short to medium with the primaries being short also. Seen while staying low on the east side of trail in the cottonwoods. A House Wren was singing also, Nuttall's Woodpecker working & calling near a treehole.
