Eurasian Collared-Dove and Ringed Turtle-Dove in Bishop

Eurasian Collared-Doves have been seen around Bishop for a couple years, but on 15 Apr we had our best views of one Eurasian Collared-Dove, posing side-by-side with a Ringed Turtle-Dove in our backyard. This was a great opportunity to see the plumage differences between the naturally occurring Eurasian Collared-Dove and locally escaped cage bird, Ringed Turtle-Dove. Photos were digiscoped, below.  Note especially the Eurasian Collared-Dove's darker gray back, wing coverts and primaries.  Also, the bottom photo shows the gray undertail coverts.
