Sighting

On 5/31, after missing all the rare birds seen recently at Furnace Creek Ranch, my wife Barbara and I spent several hours at the north end of Death Valley. Very few birds at Mesquite Springs Campground, but there was a Gray Catbird in the large tangle beyond the cement bridge at the end of the lawn at Scotty's Castle. Bob Brandriff Berkeley
