Like the Nashville Warbler yesterday, this is a bird that is fairly rare at Mono Lake in the fall, and is something that you will hardly ever see at Mono Lake in the first week of July. An old male feeding in the bitterbrush at the Narrows. Bizarre stuff, I wonder if the warm March and April have something to do with it.
