Cedar Waxwing in Bishop

Sighting

I heard the high lisping call of a Cedar Waxwing over our house this afternoon and thought, "No way, it's only August." But sure enough, it called again and then I saw it, with it's bold yellow tail tip. The Heindel Graphs show the earliest returning Fall birds arriving on 26 August, so this one's on the early side.
