Sighting

After spending the holiday weekend running troughout our local Sierra high country, there seemed to be some good birds still up high. Some high lights were male Red-naped Sapsucker @ Pine Ck Lake, a dark morph Gray-crowned Rosy Finch @ Mono Pass out of Rock Ck (Inyo Side), Golden Eagle near Pine Ck pass, Hairy WP heard and seen in many places, Mountain Quail near Mono Pass, Mountian Bluebirds just near Piutte Pass, Golden-Crowned Sparrow at Piutte Lk, American Dipper in Convict Ck near washed out bridge, and still a fair amount of Yellow-rumped warblers (all audubon as far as I saw). There were many more expected species seen and heard as well.
