Sighting

On 11 Oct, a 2nd year Bald Eagle was seen at Tinemaha Reservoir. This is the 2nd earliest Inyo County record with the earliest on 8 Oct. Also at Tinemaha was a Spotted Sandpiper which is rarely seen during Oct with a few lingerers into Dec. An adult Bonaparte's Gulls in basic plumage was at Klondike Lake. This is a very early bird as most adults don't arrive until very late in Oct and are more numerous in Nov.
