Sighting

Finding another Palm Warbler in 4 days was quite a surprise. This bird was 2-3 miles from the earlier one and similar plumage. This first fall female type was heard first at the metal bridge (Farmers Pond) off of Hwy 6 along with a Slate-colored Junco feeding with White-crowned Sparrows and American Pipits. The Vermilion Flycatcher, first fall female type, is still present southeast of the Bishop sewer ponds, where she was last week (see earlier post).
