A first winter bird with a large flock (15) of juncos, with at least 2 Slate-colored Juncos were seen below the hill you drive up to the campground on. We parked at the top and looked down over the NW side in the weedy and sandy field next to the metal fenced ball field. The birds fly into a juniper next to the metal fence and there's a sign on the fence near the corner. The birds were feeding in the rain and easily seen.
