This morning (9 Nov) Claus Englehardt found a Worm-eating Warbler. Bill Mitchel assisted with the identification. It was found in the large Cottonwood tree near the snack shack building adjacent the creek. It was later (12:00-12:10PM) in the cottonwoods surrounding the snack shack. It associated with a few Audubon's, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Chickadees. It was a very distinctive, plump warbler with black streaks on the crown offset by contrasting orange streaks. Below, the bird was very caramel-colored. No wing bars on a brownish back that had some green tones. Wow!
