We drove out to Andy Zdon's hoping to find the Lawrence's Goldfinch, this was our second try, it did come into his thistle feeder around 9 AM. Wow! What a gorgeous bird with black in the face and crown, yellow on the front and yellow wings. Same size as the American Goldfinches next to it. Maybe our photos will turn out.
