On 5 Dec a Rusty Blackbird was found at the northwest edge of Tinemaha Reservoir. It was first observed just south of where Tinemaha Creek flows into the reservoir. After being photographed it flew north and was refound on the northeast shoreline under the tallest willows. This male spends its time walking along the shoreline sometimes in the water and other times just barely onto the sand. It looks similar to a Brewer's Blackbird but the bill is thinner and the feathers are edged rusty.
