Sighting

This morning (12/31/04) just as the rain let up and the sun came out, we spied an adult swamp sparrow along the irrigation ditch between the Meadowcreek II housing development and Brockman Lane. This bird was not easy to see in the thick willow shrubs and rabbitbrush, and could not be located at 1:00 pm on our return walk.
