Heard the "kip" note of the Kingbird first then found it preening in a Native willow about half-way between Brockman and Meadowcreek community. The Common Yellowthroat was first seen on the 6th near the "pipe" in a Russian Olive. Our second Hooded Oriole has shown up, a female it appears with a distinctly curved bill, gray wings with white wingbars and all yellow belly. Now we have a pair. Nice male Rufous at feeder too. Also 6 Cassin's Finches were here briefly today, bright males.
