Sighting

On 23 July, two Solitary Sandpipers were at Tinemaha Reservoir and a Sage Thrasher was south bound on Steward Lane at the southern edge of Big Pine. The sandpipers are late if they are the first passing through. The thrasher is known to sometimes breed on the valley floor but none were seen or reported this year in this area so it is presumed that this is an early migrant.
