We've been hosting a bright adult male Anna's since last week, Dec.29, when it first showed up. We were worried as it disappeared yesterday morning with the huge snowstorm and many branches breaking on the junipers that its favorite feeder was in and it rested in, but we're happy to report that it showed up again today in the sunshine near the feeders and seems no worse for wear. Its gorgette is bright pink and continues over its crown. But the pink turns to black when it turns its head a certain direction.
