Sighting

On a day of birding between Nik and Nik and around the sewer ponds we saw an early Black-Bellied Plover in the eastmost pond at the sewer ponds. It was feeding with Greater Yellow Legs and Killdeer. Short bill, fuller bodied than YL, much larger than the Killdeer. Rough-Winged Swallows also at the sewer ponds. 5 sat obligingly on the fence for us. Many hundreds of Tree Swallows graced the air. 48 species total.
