Sighting

The Seasonal Pond is south of the Bishop Sewer Ponds off the dirt road opposite the Airport Road. Saw 5 possible Least Sandpipers among over 50 Long Billed Dowitchers and a single adult breeding American Avocet. It’s very hard to determine the difference between the Least and Western. The breast is slightly dark, but the white in the breast below continues up to the shoulder. The bill is fairly short. All point towards the Least except for the legs…they are quite dark. Hope someone can get out there and make the ID.
