Sighting

Migration is revving up with birds moving north and up into the mountains to get on their nesting territories. In a week, around the 16th of April is when, in the past, we've had a huge change in birds, with the neo-tropical variety showing up in Bishop and moving north or staying to feed, like vireos, warblers and flycatchers etc. It just continues to get more interesting through May and into early June. Keep birdbook and binos handy.I take with me in car in case there's a new hawk like Swainson's to see.
