On Rush Creek, I saw a second-year redstart in just about the same location as the one on June 21, though today it wasn't singing, just foraging. It was about a kilometer upstream of the Rush Creek county road ford. I think it's interesting that these sightings are in a well-forested section of Rush Creek that happens to lack a Yellow Warbler territory - I often see Yellow Warbler chasing other small birds such as Brewer's Sparrows, gnatcatchers, etc. out of their territories. I also came across a singing Plumbeous Vireo today, a strange sighting for lower Rush Creek.
