8 Least Sandpipers were in a flock at the new pond to the n. of Riverside Rd. which is n. of Dixon Ln. Also, a WWPE is unusual at this low elevation mid summer, I would venture. Before we left town, we had one singing same place June 9th, 2006. These guys are mountain nesters and not valley nesters. Hooded Oriole still visiting our feeder also.
