He's still on Rush, in the exact location where I found him singing on June 21. It's gnarly habitat and there are Yellow Warblers and Orange-crowned Warblers around as well, but I will make some time and see if he has a mate. Also - the Northern Harriers that fledged three young on Rush Creek in 2005 returned and nested in the same location this year. At least one of their young fledged today. I had to walk nearby and I flushed it from some rose. The mother, who pretty much hates me, dropped a 10-day old Brewer's Sparrow nearly on my head as she screamed at me.
