Below are two pix: 1) a head shot by Bob Steele of the Keough's CA bird on 1 Aug 2006 and 2) a full shot by Andrew Spencer of the wintering New Mexico bird. Some people were wondering if the CA bird was the same individual as the NM bird. These shots indicate that they were not the same bird. Bob and Andrew confirmed that they are digital pix and that they have not been "flipped" therefore both are showing the same side of the bill.
