Sighting

Adult Hooded Orioles have been coming into our feeders all summer but today the bright Hooded male was with two juvenile Hooded's. They were all yellow below in the underside compared to the Bullock's juvs that had been coming in last month, which are gray or whitish in the lower underside. Also, Bullock's are getting scarce. The adult Hooded has been fussing around our yard and finally the young sat out in the open. They had the same curved bill of the adult but shorter. Their tails weren't fully developed showing shorter feathers on the sides. The young also showed some black in their wings.
