After consulting with Pet Friendzy here in Bishop, the owner confirmed that this is a Senegal Parrot. All gray head and bill, green back, green triangle on breast, upper flanks and belly orangey-yellow, and gray tail feathers. In the early dawn I heard an unusual call from my backyard, when I investigated there was a Cooper's Hawk on this flailing thing. Once the Cooper's flushed the Parrot began to move about. It walked around on the branches in an Elm tree for a while and finally seemed to fall asleep. I guess it was a long night.
