Sighting

On 15 Nov, 57 Tundra Swans, 90% adults, were at Tinemaha Reservoir. These is a larger number than usual but far below the 202 record. One immature male Surf Scoter was at Klondike Lake, a time when rare. Three Red-breasted Mergansers were at Tinemaha Reservoir as was a Chestnut-collared Longspur who called while flying overhead. An adult Merlin, nominate columbarius, was hunting along the sagebrush on Steward Lane.
