Sighting

This afternoon driving east on Underwood Lane, a large Sandhill Crane flying along the tops of the locusts to the south. It eventually dropped over to the other side, but I was not able to re-locate it. It was somewhere near the Boyd house on the corner of Barlow and Underwood. In the far pasture behind the house, the habitat is very tangled along the creek, so despite my best efforts to find the crane, I came up empty-handed. I scoped all the open pastures on Sunland, Sunland Indian Res. Rd., and Barlow Lane but could not see it. Maybe someone else will be lucky and find it again.
