Sighting

While eating lunch on our back patio yesterday (Tuesday, Jan.23) Chris spotted the unmistakable white head and tail, and black body and wings of a Bald Eagle flying over some willows in the field west of Meadowcreek. It caught a thermal and slowing spiraled up and east until it was directly overhead granting great views. We watched it gain elevation until it was a black speck against the brilliant blue of yesterday. Then it made a beeline to the north, in search of some fresh fish we imagined.
