Three species of hummingbirds hanging at the feeders all weekend (Costa's, Black-chinned and Rufous), a brood of newly-hatched, 2-inch tall California Quail in the quail den on the side yard, Bullock's Orioles, a Say's Phoebe building a nest (comically) on the light over my front door (front door now off-limits to use!); and a Common Poorwill has been calling in the early evening and pre-dawn hours --- Also, large numbers of Black-throated Sparrows in the fields and coming into the yard for water.
