On 17 June 2007, Bob found two Yellow-billed Cuckoos in the Baker Meadow area. One was photographed (see below). Because there are no on-going cuckoo-specific bird surveys, this species goes unreported some years. Take Sugarloaf Road towards the Bernasconi Education Center and just before the cattle guard there is a large locked fence on the left. The birds were in the first grove of trees south of the fence. There was also a singing Indigo Bunting and a female Phainopepla.
