In addition, we were finally able to read the band on the Canada Goose that has been at Furnace Creek Ranch since April. The information we received in response to our report said that it (sex unknown) was banded on 6/21/2006 11 mile North of Hiko, Nevada. It was hatched in 2005 or earlier. FYI, Hiko is about half way between Las Vegas and Ely.
