We birded Rovana with Jon and then we all went up to Crowley and had 3 Common Terns and best of all a juv Parasitic Jaeger, which was a lovely dark reddish color. We birded near Crowley at a tree lined pullout (across from Cal trans before the green church on Hwy 395) and Jon found a nice fall American Redstart which I got a few pic of showing the distinct undertail pattern. He also had a Swainson's Thrush down in the willows. Vaux's Swifts have been seen also in both counties along with White-throated swifts.
