Due to a ferocious windstorm that brought clouds of eye-stinging, salty dust to Furnace Creek and prompted the FC Ranch to close the date grove full of relocated palms for safety reasons, we made the decision at 6:00 AM this morning to postpone the Death Valley CBC to Thursday, January 3, 2008.
